Popi's Italian Restaurant

Popi’s is a family owned and operated restaurant.  Its inception 12 years ago was the creation of family members with a dream of replicating tried and true recipes they could share with the neighborhood.  Their goals were modest, but the value was soon evident and their reputation spread far and wide, combining quality food, friendly service and an atmosphere of elegant comfort.

Through the imagination, inspiration and entrepreneur spirit of owner, Nick Rucci, it has grown, not only in size with a newly constructed room, but also in the services offered.  What began as a family restaurant serving lunch and dinner in one dining room has increased to several dining rooms, a Bar area, and Banquet rooms providing catering for all kinds of festivities.  Free parking and separate entrances for the restaurant and banquet rooms have been added.  Its ambience has taken on the whole feeling of a typical Tuscan villa with its newly decorated tile floors, granite bar, earthy colors and soft lighting.

Popi’s is a work in progress.  It is constantly being updated with state of the art equipment and decorations and its staff trains on a periodic basis to remain competitive with the food industry.  Service, quality of food, excellent ingredients and personal attention are still the priority.  Most of the clientele are repeat, old customers who are greeted like family members.  On any given night, you might experience an evening of music or rubbing elbows with local athletes, journalists and sports announcers.  It remains a stalwart of the area, greeting customers on a daily basis, satisfying their every need including family get-togethers on any given holiday.

Overall, Popi’s combines international cuisine in a local, friendly atmosphere and promises to appeal to all tastes.
